Dayere Zangi
Cats: Society|Iran’s cinema has been an exhaust for political and social dissatisfaction during the last 30 years. Despite Iran’s sufficating oppressive regime movie makers take a great risk by producing movie’s with such political context. Eventhough many movies become prohibited from showing in public, and actors get a working restriction, they still show their bravery by taking part in such movies.
The most recent examples of such projects are Ali Santoori, a movie about Iran’s current societal problems including the explosive use of drugs by young Iranians. And recently it is Dayere Zangi that decorates the screens of Iran’s silver screen. In this movie several social issues in Iran are shown candidly, such as the role of the prohibited TV satellites, the political ans social dissatisfaction of everyday people and the disruptive conflicts between moderate people and regime favoring Iranians.
